The Development

Downtown’s next great neighborhood is just around the bend of the Scioto River.

The goal of the Scioto Peninsula is to create an active, mixed-use development anchored by a cultural district. The first project along the Scioto Peninsula was completed in 2015, as the Scioto Greenways riverfront restoration project opened to the public.

The focus on greenspace and cultural amenities continued with the construction of the new National Veterans Memorial and Museum, which opened October of 2018 and the Dorrian Green and the American Museum of Natural History Dinosaur Gallery at COSI, both of which opened in November 2017.

The Peninsula Office 8 Stories

Upon full build-out, The Peninsula Development will include up to 1,700 residential units, up to 800,000 square feet of office, up to 150,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space and up to 500 hotel rooms. The Peninsula Office will be the center of this development.

The Peninsula is more than a place to work. It is a walkable, bikeable community. It is a unique live-work-play lifestyle centered around culture, rooted in common interests, and infused with creativity. It is a neighborhood that brings together the best of all worlds.
